Drawing Basics with Jackie

Get ready to develop your skills and create artwork you’ll be proud of!

This class will be 4 sessions:
Day 1: Explore drawing tools, sketchbook benefits, and the importance of observation. Learn shading and value techniques to add depth and realism.

Day 2: Master composition, balance, and perspective. Apply these skills to sketch a still life.

Day 3: Create a stunning charcoal and white chalk drawing on grey paper, focusing on highlights and shading for a professional finish.

Day 4: Finish charcoal drawings or try new projects like pen and ink figure sketches, one-point perspective, or self-portraits.
